The news ticker stuff is totally sweet. It makes about as much sense as the news tickers on real news networks, which I always assumed were there to distract you so you don't notice that the people on camera aren't saying anything.
Well I'm sure that the characters in the movie are talking about coke, the carbon product used in the smelting of steel. That's not copyrighted.
