kitenn, this is truly one of the more unexpected stories I have ever read on here! And, were it almost anyone else, i would think it was made up!

Your storytelling here is very nicely done. Your opening put us right into your mood at the moment, and i was relieved when Alex shows up to comfort you in a time of need.

And, as usual with your style, not a lot of fluff and filler...just a clean, precise story.

Well done!

1st: Very well written. It unfolded nicely and kept me extremely interested in what would happen next. And, each new part of the story escalated, which kept the pace fast.

2nd: What a great story from your life! Isn't it great how the unexpected treats are the ones we remember forever! You are so lucky that something so abstract and spontaneous like this happened. And I'm sure many more similiar events have happened to you, as well!

Thanks for sharing!

The first rule of Tech Club? You don't blog about Tech Club.

I like the fact that you dug back a few years and rebooted a classic from the last year of the past millenium!

Do any of the members of Tech Club have girlfriends? Do they also belong to Trek Club, where the poke each other in the eyes with the "Live Long and Prosper" hand sign?

Nice entry!

...I found out that President Obama had placed a to-go order for the entire White House staff, and every last wing in the place was gone. Upset, I headed out the door and passed the Pres on his way in to pick up his order. I told him my dilemna, and he said that ordinarily he would help me out and toss some wings my way, but he said the staff was hungry and I could 'suck it'. Just then, a truckload of angry Canadians with pitchforks crashed through the front window, and...

I am holding this thread hostage. No one else can post, or the thread gets it. I want one million in small unmarked bills. And no cops!

Finally! I win!
