To answer your question, Evernight is about a girl named Bianca who is a vampire who also falls in love with a human named Lucas. She doesn't know that he is part of a group called the Black Cross (I think that's what it's called). I haven't read the book lately so I don't remember all of it, but if you go to www.claudiagray.com then you can read the prologue to Evernight and the prologue and chapter 1 to the next book, Stargazer.
