Who needs physics?
Who needs physics?
There are "laws" in physics. And laws, as we all know, are made to be broken.
So I had to think for a while before I could come up with a super power that hasn't been used anywhere before...all of the obvious ones are taken (teleportation, mind reading, telekinesis, etc). But I don't think mine has ever been done before.
The amazing super power: the ability to bend the laws of physics. You drop something and it doesn't fall. You can fit twelve ounces of water into a ten-ounce glass. You can have an action without an equal and opposite reaction.
Of course, it would only work for a few seconds because the laws of physics don't like to be bent, but if you can work it right you'd be nearly unstoppable!

To answer kitenn's question, there would be numerous ways to stop bad guys (assuming YOU'RE a good guy!). Gravity (or the lack of) could be used in many ways. For instance, flight would be in defiance of gravity.
ALSO: The most interesting part would be the contradiction to Newton's Third Law of Physics: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." If you were to break this law of physics, it would, for all intents and purposes, give you unlimited and unstoppable strength.
That would also be interesting because it would make the hero a social outcast, unable to function in society normally because of the potential for harm to other beings.
Sorry to get all sciency! This one really made me think!
