 (This information should help Corbin make an educated decision about this mysterious man, but in most cases her imagination could be leading her in the wrong direction. There have certainly been many wierd happenings, but instinct alone may lead Corbin in to a dead end and an embarrasing situation if she indeed uses a classical method against this man to "call him out" of hiding. She should combine intinct and intelligence and confidently reveal him. Considering the weight of the situation, if directed more towards this man being a vampire then Corbin and Luci may revert to seeking him out and stalking him.)

THIS IS INFORMATION ABOUT VAMPIRES AND THE DIFFERENT TYPES THAT EXIST.  

Most vampires don't want people to know that they're immortal and live among both the dead and the living, so my best guess would be to become this guy's "friend" and hope for the best.

All you need to do is show some kindness and do un to others, maybe help him as much as he has helped you. It might help.

But there are some signs, depending on the type of vampire he is.

The first type of vampire is  classical vampire. These types of  vampires may or may not be pale in appearence. It all depends on how well fed they are. So, in testing this theory one could possibly

A Classic, having fed well, is believed to look quite human; rosy cheeks, bright eyes, etc. But when the blood began to dissipate, the corpse-like appearance returned: sunken eyes, gaunt, drawn and with pale skin.

Almost all true Vampires have the same or quite similar problems, including sensitivity, in varying degrees, to light and sun; even indoor lighting and the lights in night clubs. Some blister very badly, some deeply burn, some pass out, others suffer heat stroke. Most have Day-Glare Blindness, similar to humans who experience snow blindness or night blindness. Most CAN go out into the day, but really would rather not. All tend to feel ill and weak during the day and better and stronger as darkness descends.

     Vampires have many characteristics that vary from each vampire depending on where they came from.  Here are some of the characteristics:

They need blood to survive because it is the elixir of life, without blood they will die.   The blood gives them energy, power and replenishes their body.  It is the key to immortality  They only come out at night because they fear sunlight.  They grow stronger, tempering with time. In folklore, it is not mentioned that vampires have fangs. They have an angular face and a waxy complexion--looking pale and drained. They have the ability to shapeshift in other words change into an animal like bats, rats, cats, raven and wolves. They have the power to control animals(the animals that they can change into). They live in their graves during the day and rise during the night They have no reflections, so when they look in the mirror they don't see anything Vampires die if they have been staked through the heart by wood, burned or by decapitation and removing the brain. Religious symbols do not harm folklore vampires. When vampires drink the blood of a person that person will turn into a vampire. When a person dies violently, committed suicide or was wrongly accused and killed, he or she may become a vampire.
