The ability to make people...
forget?
Basically this is reminiscent of the flashy thing in Men in Black. The person can make anyone forget any specific thing(s) that they so desire. I figure this would come in handy to make bad guys forget that they were doing something bad... no more badness. It could also make criminals less likely to hurt people if they don't remember who testified against them.

It could also make criminals less likely to repeat offend, as you could make them forget why they do those things in the first place.

Funny...I had a professor in college that had the power to make me forget. Just look at my grades!
