Surprise!
Best Friends Forever
The most extraordinarly awesome gift I was ever given back was my best friend chain bracelet, given to me by my best friend Kyoto when we were in 3rd grade. Kyoto said she had found it in the time box we burried into the ground that day we left schools. We made a promise to place and burry something inside to remember each other, and one day she called me and asked if I remembered her. We both met up at the park, and I saw her. We hugged, and talked about the time box we set 6 years ago. I was estatic. I was even more joyful when I opened the box, and the chain, which I hadn't seen in 6 years, was sitting there, inside. All the charms were still on it! The charms had personal meaning too. The little microphone charm meant that we always loved to sing with each other. The tiny cupcake charm meant that we loved to bake at each others houses. Finally, the small book charm meant that we enjoyed reading to each other and telling stories, whether it was scary, funny, or sad. It was the best gift, because it showed me that Kyoto was my true friend, and that she would remember how we shared our bond together; our friendship bracelets. To this day, my bracelet is safetly wrapped around my wrist, and Kyoto and I still hang to the end.
