After the series huge popularity some of the cast have become more accustomed to the celebrity life. Kermit and Ms. Piggy have made guest appearances at different award shows and MTV and Elmo came out with his own line of dolls and clothes which have been ripped off the shelves in high demand... But these characters are not what I'm interested in...
Devon, I'm curious to find out the truth on the alleged affair between the popular male duo BERT AND ERNIE from Sesame Street and all the other horrid accusations.
Firstly, the most popular rumor flying around is about there sexuality. Can two men just live in their basement together without anything sexual going on? Sesame street denies all the rumors, but what IS the truth when the street lights go out and the basement door is locked?
The next allegations arised from a 90s website called Bert Is Evil. Even though the original website is no longer available, other sites have mirrored this idea and kept the rumors alive... Was Bert really involved with Hitler? Is Berts full name Osama BERT Laden? Was Bert the Puppeteer behind the Jack the Ripper murders? Was he the one who advise O.J to plead the fifth? Were Bert and Lee Harvey Oswald really "just freinds" or accomplices in the murder of JFK?
