Met a girl, thought she was...different...
A story about a blind online date that was a wee bit ... different ...
OK so I met this girl online. She was a true sweetheart and gorgeous to boot. So, I finally got up the courage to ask her to meet at this really nice resteraunt. So, I'm there at the restaurant, waiting with a red rose pinned to my chest (to mark the target, you see). Now she told me she'd be a few minutes late but didn't say why and I didn't ask, though looking back I probably should have ... Anyway, I look up and I see someone come through the door ...
I and everyone else in the restaurant was absolutely floored! She walked in, her long hair flowing with her robe, her lightsaber swaying from her utility belt in an almost hypnotic manner.
Apparently, we had planned the date on the same day as the convention ... Yeah, just a little awkward but the rest of the date went fairly well and I learned something new: If your date says she'll be late, never hesitate to ask why!
