Lovingly ditch the friends...
Lovingly ditch the friends...
Sometimes you have to do what hurts the most, in order to protect the ones you love…or tolerate in Wyatt’s case.
Hey Corbin,
I know it’s scary, but I think you have to go after Siona by yourself. You’ve put Wyatt and Luci through so much, and although they’d never complain…could you honestly live with yourself if anything happened to them?
But you can’t let them know what’s going on. They’ll only talk you out of it. Say you’re giving up. Pretend you’re heading home, and when you stop to rest at a motel or something, sneak out in the middle of the night. I know it will hurt Luci when she wakes up, but isn’t it better that she’s safe?
Leave a note for Luci to find, and hide it in the back of whichever Confessions book Wyatt is currently reading. That way she won't find it, until Wyatt finishes the book, and the both of them are probably already safe at home. In it, explain why you left, why you had to do what you've done; Luci loves you and will undertand...you just have to make sure she's too far away to come back when she does.
Once you’re gone, you have to find Siona. There’s something going on here, and if you ever want to regain some sort of normalcy in your life, you have to get some answers, and she seems like your only way to get them. It’s dangerous, it’s scary, but I believe you can do it!
Good Luck in whatever you choose Corbin!
Love,
Lyra
p.s. And if you do get into trouble, I have a pretty strong feeling Nick will be lurking protectively in the shadows, waiting to save the day…just a hunch, but he seems like the brooding heroic type. Give him a chance.

So thank's to some inspirational questions... I'd like to add some extra advice for Corbin.
What to do if Luci wakes up while you're sneaking out....
If Luci tries to stop you from leaving, the only way she will let you go, is if you say something that hurts her, and violates the trust of your friendship... it's the only way to make Luci not want to come.
Maybe bring up Luci's deepest darkest secret...something only you know, possibly even say it in front of Wyatt (because of course he was woken up by your fighting)
She might not ever forgive you for saying the things you've said, but you know it's the right thing to do. Even if you have to break ties with Luci, it's worth it, if it means keeping her safe.

Whether Luci decides to turn around and follow Corbin after that, is her choice.

and I know, I tried to go for optimal drama....but I am pretty sure that Corbin and Luci are such good friends, they couldn't stay away for long.

1.) Was the submission original and creative, yet maintaining the theme of the original production (i.e. book, recording, film)?
2.) Did it work well using the medium of presentation chosen (script/video)?
3.) Was it presented in good taste and in consideration of individuals reviewing the submission?
4.) Did the submission, in any way, strike a cord of emotion within the individual reviewing it (i.e. laughter, fear, sadness, awe or wonder) in which it was intended to provoke?
Just when I thought my rating system was strict, I find myself struck by yours!
You need to go back and re rate every submission, that you used your current rating system on, and apply the proper rating system.
So yea, what lemey said.
& I've said pretty everything about Corbin going alone. Hm.
