Jacket.....GIrl?

Which to choose save little girl, favorite jacket?

The nicest thing I have ever done for anyone is when I was like maybe 10-11 my family decided they wanted to take the boat out to the lake. We went to this spot that was pretty close the the dam. But there was a beach and some people to party with, so we stopped there. I met this really nice little girl who could barley swim and we where just hanging out in the shallow end and everything. And behind the beach we where on was this place that had a strong current and she decided to wonder of by herself and go play  in it not knowing that they are letting out water from the dam so its twice as strong as normal. She ended up getting swept under the current and dragged a little bit away from the beach. (She had my favorite swimming jacket on that she took off) it started floating away. At that moment I had to decide if I was going to save the jacket or the little girl.(Dont forget I was pretty young at that moment) But I decided to go save the little girl from drowning and the sad part is her parents didnt even notice her leaving ot returning because they where to busy partying but when the little girl told them the story  they where thanking me and asking me if i wanted anything.(I didnt take anything). Oh and my jacket was gone:((  But I would of rather saved the little girl than had the jacket anyday. But still to this moment I wonder is she remember it or her parents told her.

The end.

Makes you just want to beat her parents about the head with sticks, doesn't it? Geez. That was a great thing you did, and I'm sure the little girl remembers it.

WTG! It is cool that at that young of an age you chose to be selfless and help out another human when you could have been swept under as well.
