Catching a Glimpse

So back to the boyfriend from before, the one who gave me the cat's paw.  Well, he was sweet, and we were good friends, but honestly there wasn't much more to our relationship than that.  Still, I liked him.  He was cute and he loved to read my poetry, so he won in my book.

After about a month of going out, however, he wrote me a note saying that he was sorry, he really wanted to remain friends, but that was it.  No more to it than that, it just didn't work.  And honestly, it didn't really hurt, because as I said we were mostly just close friends.

A few days passed, and he still was nice and talked to me, and one day I heard him in the hallway after school.  Everyone else had left for the day except for a few people here and there.  So as I hear him talking to someone, I peek out of the classroom I'm in and see him with his friend, Tony.  I had always liked Tony, too, but nothing had ever happened with him.  In fact, I had never seen any girls with Tony.

And this glimpse in the hall explained it all as I watched my ex-boyfriend, Scott, grab Tony's butt as they walked together. 

I can't say I was shocked, really.  I kind of was, but everything also made sense then.  It could also be what triggered my man on man fetish, who knows?
