What Inspires Me
The ability to say words and mean them inspires me more than any human person. The physicality of words in a sense inspires me to sing and act and generally love humanity in spite of its flaws. I do love, but I love enough to know that there are evil men and women in this world who use that love and turn it against me. So, I am paranoid. I know I love, but I do not initially know that love with another person. I shall only know when they have given fully of themselves in all aspects.....both the good and the bad.

Richard Dawkins. Brave man with a good theory about "religion" If you want to listen to what he has to say google him, but if you're a loving christian don't even attempt to try because I'm certain his ideas will change your views. The world achieves many things, but how can an individual achieve anything spectacular when machines are replacing jobs once given to real men and women. We live in a Mechanical United States....a Mechanical World. All achievements now, though important, aren't as amazing because of the mechanical power behind one technological piece of equipment. We have created an artificial intelligence that will one day overturn our authority and destroy us. The world Greatest Achievement is the Virus. Computers aren't as friendly as most would want to believe. Viruses put us in our place and show us how to live without technology - at least for a while....or even a few seconds.

I never got into the whole sims game. It just gets boring after a while, but who knows. They've probably improved the game a lot by now!

It all depends on how you look at the situation. We now live in a mechanical nation and I certainly doubt we can prevent anything now. We rely on technology too much to prevent anything.
If indeed do try to prevent a technological disaster we'd ultimatley end up using technology to defend ourselves from being taken over by technology. So..either way we're screwed. The only way to prevent technology from backfiring on us is by getting rid of it. BUT We can't.....generation X has to have a world that lives up to the name.
